Announcements: Summer Retreat: Today, May 31, is the final day to register for our church summer retreat at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin June 19–21. Dr. John Erickson, professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, will be speaking to the English congregation on “The Four Fundamental Questions.” See the bulletin insert for registration details. Celebrating the Life of Yutai Chang: Sister Yutai Chang, 60, went to be with her Savior on Friday, May 15, 2026, surrounded by family. Yutai had a heart for hiking in nature, being near the ocean, and admiring the beauty of God’s creation. Her unwavering courage and kindheartedness brought encouragement to all she met. Above all, Yutai’s steadfast faith in the Lord and dedication to His service were her ultimate source of joy and strength. She is survived by her husband, Fulin, son and daughter, Albert and Kristin, and also her mother, Tin-Lien Chen. Dearborn Mission Team: Come meet Muslim friends, learn to cross cultures, and share the Gospel in response to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)! The Dearborn Muslim Community Outreach (led by Chicago Chinese Christian Missions (CCCM)) is forming a team to travel to Dearborn, Michigan September 9–13 to engage Muslims with the Gospel. We encourage all NSCCC members to prayerfully consider applying to join the team (limited to 20 participants from Chicago area churches). CCCM will be accepting applications until May 31. Ongoing Ministries: Prayer Ministry: Our weekly congregational prayer meetings are at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays. Contact EMC (EMC@nsccc.org) for details about worship and prayer every other month on Friday nights. Small Groups are an important part of developing community at NSCCC. See Lloyd Lam or email lloyd.lam@yahoo.com m for details about available groups. Youth Group is a great place for Junior and Senior High students to make friends, play games, and learn about God.
