For the benefit of all, please turn your cell phone to vibrate mode during our Service. For parents of young children, we have a nursing room/supervised nursery located downstairs and Sunday School classes for children age 2 (as of September 1, 2023) through 6th grade, which meet during our worship service. Our offering is intended for those who consider NSCCC their home church. If you are a visitor, please do not feel obligated to participate.
Announcements: Sunday Lunch Fellowship: Wanting to get to know people in the church better? Join us for lunch each Sunday after the worship service. The first Sunday of each month we will have a light lunch prepared by church members and served buffet style in the MPR. On all other Sundays, a small group will often gather in the church lobby to decide on a nearby restaurant to visit. Please reach out to any EMC Member (listed on the back of the bulletin) to find out this week’s location. Facility Usage Requests: We have a new electronic Church Calendar and Facility Usage Request form available at nsccc.org/facilities (also available from the nsccc.org home page by selecting "About Us" and "Facilities"). Ministries planning a program at the church (one time or recurring) should consult the calendar for availability and submit the request form for approval and posting. Contact any one of the Deacons for questions or a more detailed description of the reservation process. First Aid Kit: There is a first aid kit in the church office with supplies for cuts, scrapes, rashes, and other minor injuries. In the event of a more significant emergency, please call 911 and notify a ministry leader of the situation. Ongoing Ministries: Prayer Ministry: Our monthly congregational prayer meetings are at 9:45 a.m. on the fourth Sunday of each month. Contact EMC (EMC@nsccc.org) for the Zoom link or for details about worship & prayer in smaller gatherings during the week. Small Groups are an important part of developing community at NSCCC. See Ryan Graham or email ragraham@gmail.com for details about available groups. Youth Group is a great place for Junior and Senior High students to make friends, play games, and learn about God.
